Midwest Public Health Coalition, LLC is a non-profit, public information company that was formed in response to the conflicting, confusing and often misleading statements that are made to the public about the characteristics, of the Coronavirus, SARS-Cov-2, more commonly known as COVID-19.
Our current mission is to provide accurate, non-biased, science-based information about the Coronavirus, who is at risk, who isn't, and what course of action is appropriate for individuals and decision makers to maintain general good health and to keep the Coronavirus in perspective.
MPHC is comprised of health care workers, scientists, and informed citizens who are greatly concerned about the harm being done to our economy, our society, and especially our children, by the misleading and often false statements made every day in the media. Misinformation about such an important issue leads policy-makers, business owners, and individuals to make decisions that are detrimental to the economic, social, mental, emotional and physical health of our society in general, and to each of us as individuals.
Our goal is to encourage all American citizens to get the real facts about COVID-19, so that they can make better decisions for themselves, their families, and their businesses, and not fall prey to irrational fears or governmental overreach. The damage being done by the reaction to COVID-19 is in many ways greater than the damage being done by COVID-19 itself. Knowledge is power. It’s important that we all understand the potential consequences of just sitting back and trusting a small group of “celebrity experts.”
